Several water main breaks across NH over the weekend

Several towns in New Hampshire have reported water main breaks in the past two days.

In Berlin, homes on Wight Street from Rocky Lane to 125 Jericho Road have no water while the repairs are being made Monday.

Crews searched overnight for the location of the leak, which had been discovered Sunday.

Residents are being asked to run their water only if it's rusty until it runs clear. Only the people that have been notified by the Berlin Water Works to run their water this winter should keep their water running. If there are residents outside the described area that still don't have water, they should call BWW at 752-1677.

Exeter and Newmarket had water main breaks reported Monday. In Exeter, the water problem was affected Phillips Exeter Academy.
