Several pounds of pot seized in Campton traffic stop

CAMPTON - Two men were arrested and several pounds of marijuana seized following a State Police traffic stop on Interstate 93.

Trooper Sean McCarthy noticed a car travelling at a high rate of speed at 3 p.m. on April 8 and pulled it over after it exited the highway at Exit 28.

A search of the car led to police finding several pounds of marijuana, scales and a large sum of cash.

The driver, Zachary Flieder, 24, of Concord, was charged with transporting marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. His passenger Noah White, 20, of Penacook, was arrested for possession of marijuana.

They will be arraigned June 16.
