Several forums held across NH on Thursday to discuss heroin, opioid crisis
Several towns are holding community forums tonight aimed at tackling the state's opioid and heroin crisis.
In Bedford, the police department is hosting "Substance Abuse, From the Border to Our Corner."
A group of panelists will address what is being done to address the crisis on a local and national level. Attendees include Sen. Kelly Ayotte, Jon Delena of the DEA, Scott O'Donnell of the FBI, Colonel Robert Quinn, N.H. State Police, treatment and recovery advocates and more.

In Rochester, guest speakers and the public will hold an open forum at the Opera House. The event is being called "The Local Opioid Epidemic: What is your role in the solution?"

In Rye, community leaders are encouraging the public to take part in a forum at the Rye Public Library. It's a collaborative event hosted by the Seacoast Public Health Network, the library, the Rye Police and Fire Departments, Rockingham County Drug Court, Portsmouth Regional Hospital and members of the community.
