Series of early-morning thefts from parked vehicles in Laconia; second instance this week

LACONIA — Police believe that one man is responsible for the string of reported thefts from vehicles around certain streets in the early morning hours of Thursday.

The reports came from the areas of Whipple Avenue, and the streets Pleasant, Cross, Holman, Harvard and Dartmouth.

Police say someone who lives in the area saw a 6'0'' tall male in a gray hooded sweatshirt, black vest, and jeans, running from where the crimes had occurred.

Police say this is not the same suspect as the one who committed similar crimes reported on Province Road.
