Seabrook soup kitchen director indicted on new child sex assault charges

BRENTWOOD — A grand jury has indicted the former director of a soup kitchen in Seabrook on new felony sex assault charges involving a minor.

Douglas Blinn, 44, of Boynton Lane, Seabrook, was originally charged in August but fled after learning there was a warrant for his arrest. He was caught in Ossipee six days later after an extensive manhunt.

According to, a Rockingham County grand jury recently added three new charges. He has already been indicted on sex assault and theft charges stemming from accusations he raped a minor female between 2009 and 2015

He is also accused of taking more than $3,500 from the Community Table, the soup kitchen where he'd been working. He allegedly used the money to rent a car and buy personal items.

The Community Table is currently managed by Melissa Lebrun, daughter of founder and former director Joyce Addison.
