School bus, police cruiser involved in crash in Northumberland

The Associated Press

NORTHUMBERLAND - New Hampshire State Police are investigating a three-vehicle crash involving a school bus and a state police cruiser.

It happened Thursday afternoon in the town of Northumberland.

Authorities say a 16-year-old driver was trying to turn left onto U.S. Route 3 southbound when the front of his car hit a marked police cruiser traveling northbound. State police say the impact caused the cruiser to hit a school bus.

The school bus was carrying 18 students at the time of the crash.

No one was injured.

Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call state police.
