School bus carrying adults involved in an accident


ROCHESTER - A school bus carrying mostly adult passengers was run into from behind by a jeep late Friday night.

At 9:17 p.m., the Rochester Police and Fire department responded to an accident that happened on Columbus Avenue in front of the Stop and Go Deli.

Victoria Kerivan, 25 of Stafford, was driving a 2011 Jeep Liberty on Columbus Avenue when she struck the rear of a school bus. The bus was operated by Jean Dieudonne, 36 of Everett MA.

There were 32 adult passengers on board the bus, and no reported injuriess. Kerivan, on the other hand, was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital along with another adult and two todlers for minor injuries.

Kerivan was issued a summons for following too closely.
