Salem police ID victim of fatal motorcycle crash, 11th deadly NH crash in past week

SALEM - Salem police have identified the victim in a fatal motorcycle accident that happened Tuesday.

Police said they are still investigating the crash that killed Leo Martin, 48 of Salem, near Shadow Lake Road.

Reports say he lost control of his Harley Davidson, slid 200 feet, and hit a parked car, which sent both the motorcycle and the driver flying.

So far, police believe alcohol and speed were factors. Martin was not wearing a helmet.

This crash is the 11th fatal crash on New Hampshire roads in the last week.
