SALEM - A man wanted in connection with a Massachusetts homicide was arrested at the Red Roof Inn on Wednesday night.

Joshua Chevez, 23, of Methuen, Mass. was charged with being a fugitive from justice. Police say they also found crack cocaine, oxycodone pills and a loaded gun in his hotel room and charged him with drug possession and with being a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon.

Salem police were working with Massachusetts State Police in making the arrest. Chevez was held without bail and was scheduled to be arraigned in Salem District Court on Thursday.
