Roommate dead; mystery remains about missing Manchester woman

MANCHESTER - It has been 19 days since 57-year-old Sue Hutchinson was last seen, according to police.

They found her BMW car but say she was not the last person seen driving it.

According to police, her roommate, 36-year-old Stephen Andrade was seen driving her car. But now he's been found dead, an apparent suicide, leaving police with one less person to question regarding Hutchinson's disappearance.

Police say on Sept. 20, Andrade may have been the last person to see Hutchinson alive at their apartment.

Andrade himself was seen the following afternoon at a Bedford Game Stop driving her car. Then police say he spent the night in Boston.

On Sept. 23, Hutchinson's other car, an older Buick, was found a few blocks from their apartment. A week and a half passed with no further clues. Then earlier this week, nearly 10 miles away, Hutchinson's BMW was located at a gym in Merrimack and the next day, Andrade was found dead more than 30 miles away in a Tewksbury, Mass., hotel.

A relative of Hutchinson, who asked not to be identified, said Andrade was the father of several of Hutchinson's grandchildren and that not enough is being done to locate the woman.

Questions remain surrounding Andrade's death but so far, police have not released any new information on the case.
