Rollinsford boy battling cancer returns to class, just not in person

ROLLINSFORD - A 10-year-old Rollinsford boy battling brain cancer was recently able to return to school.

Levi Whitcomb was diagnosed in April after doctors discovered a mass on his brain. He has since undergone dozens of radiation and chemotherapy treatments.

Today, Whitcomb's health remains at risk - as his body cannot combat many infections. Therefore, when he isn't able to attend school in person, a new piece of technology is helping to ensure he can still participate in the classroom.

He was given a robot that he can control from his laptop and attend class anytime, anywhere.

We'll have more tonight beginning at 5 on NH1 News on WBIN-TV.
