Rockingham House of Corrections inmate accused or groping, threatening to rape officer

BRENTWOOD – A grand jury indicted an inmate at the Rockingham County House of Corrections on allegations that he threatened to rape a worker.

According to court documents, Michael Dixon allegedly groped the law enforcement officer while he was working and also told the officer, " I am going to (expletive) rape you."

Dixon also allegedly told the officer he would beat him up if they were "on the street."

Dixon was charged with one count of assault and two counts of criminal threatening.

Dixon is currently being held on negligent homicide charges stemming from a May accident in Derry.

Police said Dixon was under the influence when he crashed into a motorcycle that had two people on it. The driver of the motorcycle died from his injuries.
