DOVER - A Rochester woman has been arrested for conspiracy to commit witness tampering in the Tristan Wolusky murder case.
Alexandria Wyant, 21, was arraigned via video this morning at Dover District Court. She was released on $10,000 personal recognizance bail after the hearing.
Wolusky, of Rochester, has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Aaron Wilkinson. Wilkinson, 18, of Madbury, died last June after Wolusky and two other men allegedly lured him out of his home with the intention to steal money and/or drugs.
On April 2, one of Wolusky's co-defendant's, Zachary Pinette, of Springvale, Maine, pleaded guilty to his involvement in Wilkinson's death. During the attack at approximately 1:30 a.m. on June 21, Wolusky, Pinette and Michael Tatum, of Barrington, used a machete and two knives to stab Wilkinson to death.
Prosecutors say that Wilkinson was stabbed 22 times before the trio transported his body to Lebanon, Maine, in Pinette's car. They allegedly got away with just $27 and a cell phone during the robbery.
The Assistant Attorney General's Office says the men used great care to conceal their actions. They took their shoes off before approaching Wilkinson's house and superglued their fingers to avoid leaving behind fingerprints.
As part of her conditions of release, Wyant is to have no contact with Wolusky, or any of the witnesses in the case. The state also confiscated her phone.
Tatum is expected to appear again in court on April 24.
Wolusky, who called Wilkinson to get him to come outside prior to the grisly attack, will go on trial for first-degree murder in June.
