ROCHESTER — Rochester Chief of Police Michael Allen will be retiring from his title, effective as of December 31.
Deputy Chief Paul Toussaint will be appointed to the position of Chief of Police on January 1, 2017.
Deputy Chief Toussaint has been a member of the Rochester Police Department since May 1996 and has worked his way up through the ranks to achieve this goal, according to the Chairman of Police Commission.
Congratulations to Deputy Chief Toussaint, and good luck to Chief Allen in his future endeavors!
