Rochester police reward 7-year-old boy for returning $100 bill

NH1.com

ROCHESTER — Most children would probably keep a $100 bill that they found, but a 7-year-old decided to do the right thing.

Earlier this year Breyden Wentworth found a $100 bill and returned it into Rochester police in hopes of finding the rightful owner. After holding the bill for the required time period in evidence, the department was unable to find the owner of the money. So... Officer Brandon Kimbrough presented a check to Wentworth for $100 as the finder of the money.

"The Rochester Police Department would like to commend Breyden for displaying such a high degree of moral character and integrity," read the department's Facebook post.

Let's hope his honesty rubs off on everyone!
