Rochester police investigating cause of body in puddle


ROCHESTER - Police pronounced a man found face down in a puddle dead upon their arrival on Tuesday.

Another man who was on his way to work saw the body and made the call around 5:40 a.m., according to the Foster's Daily Democrat.

Police are refusing to release the dead man's name until his next-of-kin have been notified.

Police determined his identity from and out-of-state ID found on the body.

There were no obvious signs of injury on the man's body, but police have not ruled out foul play.
