Rochester officials deem Amazon RV park unacceptable for permanent living

ROCHESTER — Officials toured a city RV park on Tuesday and reported that several of the structures would not meet city codes for permanent living.

Amazon Park is home to several residents, most on a form of governmental disability and rely on the parks and the community it holds, Foster's reported.

The Weeden family, who runs the campground, is currently disputing their right to rent out recreational vehicles located on their property.

Amazon Park is approved as a seasonal campground. The Weedens have applied for year-round living in the past but were denied.
