Rochester man robs Dunkin' Donuts by demand note, then caught on the run

ROCHESTER— A man robbed a Dunkin' Donuts by passing a demand note to the cashier, then fled.

Around 10:05 p.m. Tuesday police got a call reporting a robbery at the Dunkin Donuts located on South Main St.

A police officer in the same area around that time noticed a man running from that direction who matched the worker's description of the suspect.

The officer was able to detain the man, identified as 24-year-old Eric Schoellkopf, and arrest him.

Schoellkopf was charged with one count of robbery, a class B felony. He will be held on $10,000 cash bail pending his arraignment Oct. 19.

No weapon was shown and no one was hurt during the incident.
