Rochester man killed in single-car crash on Spaulding Turnpike

ROCHESTER - A Rochester man was killed in a one-car crash on the Spaulding Turnpike Saturday night.

State Police said Corey Baker, 28, was travelling northbound on the Exit 12 on-ramp when he lost control of his pick-up truck, hit a guard rail, and the vehicle rolled over at approximately 10:30 p.m.

Baker was not wearing a seat belt and sustained fatal injuries, state police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are still investigating the accident, but believe speed and impairment contributed to the accident.
