Rochester man charged with reckless driving after car rolls over with 3 passengers


ROCHESTER - Police responded to an accident where a car with three passengers crossed the center line, went off the roadway and rolled over causing the road to shut down.

Police got reports that a single vehicle had rolled over near the area of 402 Pickering Road on Tuesday night. The driver, Patrick Leblanc, 20 of Rochester was traveling south in a 2014 Toyota Corolla, when he then crossed the center line, went off the roadway and rolled over.

Allyson Young, 22 of Dover and John Furber, 22 of East Rochester were passengers in the car - no one was wearing seat belts.

All three passengers were transported to Frisbie Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries, and the car sustained heavy damage.

Leblanc was charged for operating without a valid license and reckless driving with a court date scheduled for May 9.

The accident is under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call the Rochester Police Department at 330-7128, or the Rochester Crime Line at 335-6500.
