Rochester DHHS closed due to concerns over snow overload
ROCHESTER - The N.H. Department of Health and Human Services has closed its Rochester office until further notice.
The entire building, at 150 Wakefield Street, is closed due to concerns over snow overload on the roof and potential structural problems. Staff at the Rochester District Office have been relocated to other DHHS office sites around the State.
"The safety and well being of our clients and staff are our primary concern. The Rochester District Office will be closed until we are notified that the facility is safe," said DHHS Associate Commissioner Mary Ann Cooney. "We are making every effort to ensure that services continue with a minimum of disruption."
Phones at the District Office are being redirected to the Seacoast District Office. People who have concerns may also call Client Services at 271-9700. Clients with paperwork may drop it off at any DHHS District Office that is convenient for them or they may mail it to:
