Rochester DeAngelos robbed Tuesday


ROCHESTER - D'Angelo's Grilled Sandwich shop in on South Main St. in Rochester was robbed Tuesday night. Police say around 8:30 a white male entered the restaurant and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect did not show a weapon but did have his hands in his coat which made it appear that he did have a weapon. The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled on foot. The Rochester Police Department canine responded and performed a track however the suspect was not found.

The suspect is described as follows:
A white male between 18 and 30 years old

  • 5'5"- 5'10" tall
  • medium build
  • wearing a hooded sweatshirt
  • dark colored cloth covered his nose and mouth
  • wearing dark colored pants

No one was harmed in this robbery and no customers were present in the store during that incident. If anyone has any information on this robbery they are asked to contact Det Joseph Rousseau at 330-7143.
