Roads closed in Marlborough and Bow as crews repair utility poles broken in accidents


Roads in Marlborough and Bow are closed this morning because of downed utility poles.

In Marlborough a tractor-trailer truck hit a utility pole and a portion of Route 101 is closed while the scene is being cleaned up and the pole fixed. Two hundred sixty-five people are without power because of this accident, according to the Eversource outage map.

In Bow, Brown Hill Road is closed between Putney Road and Dunbarton Center Road. A vehicle also hit the pole there.

The closure is expected to be in place until 9 a.m.
