Reward offered by White Mountain Hotel in effort to solve armed robbery

HALES LOCATION - The owner of the White Mountain Hotel has posted a reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the armed robbery at the hotel on Sunday.

State police at Troop E say the owner is prepared to pay a cash reward - though the sum was not disclosed - in an effort to solicit tips that will help them identify suspects.

A front desk employee at the hotel was threatened by a man with a gun who demanded money early Sunday morning.

Police said the victim described the suspect as a black male, dressed in all dark clothing, wearing a hood, a camouflaged face mask and gloves. Police said they believe there is a second suspect who was present at the time of the robbery, but no description is available.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation is urged to contact the Detectives at the Troop E Barracks at (603) 223-8838 or (603) 323-3333.
