ROCHESTER - The Riviera Motel was no stranger to complaints even before 17-year-old Eve Tarmey was found dead last month of a drug overdose.

The reviews paint a pretty specific picture of the property. Click the link below to read them. There are some outrageous (and gross) accusations.

But the reputation isn't just from the public.

City Building Inspector Jim Grant told NH1 News that they have records of complaints and violations about the motel going back as far as 2007.

The violations

- A junkyard on the property

- Dumpster overflow

-Inadequate septic system

The complaints

- Bad smell

- Filthy interior

- No heat

Grant said that while the motel has been inspected several times, no fines have been leveled.

We were to find one (just one) positive review, though.

"Would stay again."
