EPPING - Voters in Epping overhelming passed two articles restricting where a medical marijuana dispensary would be allowed to open if where to come to town.
The restrictions require it be in the industrial-commercial zone and be at least 1,000 feet from a school zone.
A vote to approve a track and turf field at Oyster River High School failed to pass. 1382 voters said yes, while 1147 rejected the $1.7 million bond to build the facilities. The measure failed because they needed at least 60 percent super majority.
