The resident who worked to clean Ray Road found the needles this past week. The Dunbarton Police Department responded and secured the needles for storage in a sharps container.

The department reminds residents to use caution when out walking, especially with children or dogs, as the discarded needles pose a significant biohazard threat.

Anyone who finds a needle should leave it alone and call the dispatch center at 603-224-1232.
