Reports: Pats QB Brissett could have torn ligament in thumb, might need surgery
Well, the football gods sure aren't making it easy on the New England Patriots - and more specifically their quarterbacks.
With Tom Brady suspended for the first four games of the season, and Jimmy Garoppolo getting injured in their second game, the Pats turned to rookie Jacoby Brissett to lead them to a win Thursday night over the Houston Texans.
However, early reports say Brissett is dealing with a thumb injury and it might need surgery.

Maybe Julian Edelman should start warming up during the long week? Good news is that Brady only has to sit out one more game.
