Report of erratic driver led police to arrest NH woman for DUI
HOOKSETT - Police charged a Nashua woman with driving under the influence after they received a tip of an erratic driver.
Officer Christopher Buker responded to a motor vehicle complaint about a car swerving and nearly crashing into oncoming cars Tuesday afternoon near Hooksett Road and Londonderry Turnpike. Buker found the car, pulled it over, and identified the driver as Andrea Parzych, 40 of Nashua.
Police said that during the traffic stop, Parzych's eyes were glossy, and she struggled to keep them open. They also say Parzych informed Buker that she took several types of prescribed medications before and while driving.
Buker performed a sobriety test on Parzych resulting in he arrest.
Parzych was charged with driving under the influence and was released on $1,500 bail.
She is scheduled to be arraigned June 2 in Hooksett District Court.
