Report finds fewer hospital visitors lacking insurance in NH
A new report touts numbers for the the New Hampshire Health Protection Plan, a program that provides health insurance coverage to many low-income Granite Staters.
According to the report, hospitals saw a 17 percent reduction in the number of patients
without insurance seeking care at emergency departments in 2014.
Other hospital areas also saw decreases.
The program has enrolled 34,359 Granite Staters so far.
