Repeat offender faces felony charge after Nashua police say he stole perfume from Marshalls

NASHUA - A man who allegedly shoplifted bottles of perfume from the Marshalls at 213 Daniel Webster Highway on Tuesday faces a felony charge.

According to police, a man later identified as Martin Paralle, 41, of 40 Chestnut St., was seen taking several bottles of perfume from a display, hiding them under his coat then leaving the store without paying.

Police arrested Paralle after obtaining a warrant and charged him theft by unauthorized taking. Because he had two prior theft-related convictions, his charge was upgraded to a felony, police said.

Paralle was being held at the Valley Street jail and was arraigned Wednesday in Nashua District Court.
