Repairs for Capital Commons delayed due to part on back order

CONCORD — There are delays in the repairs to the Capital Commons parking garage.

The Concord Monitor reports that the single elevator in the Storrs Street garage is not in service.

Superintendent of the public properties Jay Burgess said that heavy rain came down on top of the elevator cab and got into the electronics of the control panel behind the buttons which fried them.

After a few days of drying out, it was determined that extensive repairs would be needed, the City of Concord New Hampshire Parking posted on its Facebook page.

The page offered another update as of Thursday: “We are waiting on one final part to make the repair, and unfortunately the part is back ordered. We are exploring options to secure this part via other means.”
