Red Arrow Diner could be coming to Concord for new 24-hour food spot
CONCORD - The city could see a new 24-hour Red Arrow Diner on Loudon Road.
The diner would be replacing two adjacent gas stations, a Sunoco and a Mobil, according to the Concord Monitor. The goal would be to offer an alternative to fast food drive-thrus for late night bites and travelers passing through the capital.
The planning board accepted the restaurant's application, allowing the next step - a public hearing on Sept. 21.
Tim Sink, president of the Great Concord Chamber of Commerce, told the paper that it is an example of Concord trying to change its image of being a "sleepy" town.
