RECALL: Takata auto parts recall expands after 10th death linked to faulty airbags

There is more trouble for Japanese auto parts maker Takata after a 10th death was linked to faulty airbags.

U.S. regulators are adding five million more cars to the 19-million vehicles already under recall.

Takata has struggled for years since the inflators were discovered to be defective. The bags can explode when activated firing out shards of metal and glass.

Takata faces multiple private legal actions, millions of dollars in fines and a U.S. Justice Department investigation.
