CONCORD – Fromm Family Foods has issued a voluntary recall of three of its canned foods. The company says the cans could have elevated levels of vitamin D. There have been no illnesses reported.
A dog exposed to elevated levels of vitamin D may display depression and have a loss of appetite.
The company is recalling all lots of the following three Fromm Gold canned foods:
-Fromm Gold Chicken Pate Dog Food
12 ounce cans

-Fromm Gold Chicken & Duck

Individual can UPC: 72705 11894
-Fromm Gold Salmon & Chicken Pate

The affected products were shipped to distributors between December 2015 and February 2016.
You can return the product to a retailer for a full refund.
