Raymond man sought in Seabrook bank robbery, carjackings in Mass.

SEABROOK - Police are looking for a Raymond man wanted in connection to a bank robbery this morning and two attempted carjackings in Massachusetts earlier this week.

Fox25 in Boston is reporting Michael Munroe, 32, of Raymond, is being sought in connection with a bank robbery today at the Granite State Credit Union on Route 1 at 10:55 a.m. Several area police departments and K-9 units have been brought in to help with the search for the alleged bank robber who took off on foot.

Munroe is wanted by two Massachusetts police departments for attempted carjackings earlier this week. Tewksbury Police said Munroe allegedly grabbed a woman as she left her job at a Dress Barn store Wednesday and stole her purse and car. On Thursday, Reading Police ordered an elementary school to shelter in place and warned neighbors to keep doors locked following another attempted carjacking allegedly committed by Munroe.
