Pursuit, officer-involved shooting, investigation shuts down portion of NH interstate

WARNER — A section of Interstate 89 has been closed for more than an hour after a pursuit and officer-involved shooting.
Police from several towns and New Hampshire State Police had cruisers set up in the roadway near Exit 7 southbound. The highway is closed from Exits 7 to 6.
A 4-door sedan with Vermont license plates was stopped in the middle of the highway in front of the cruisers with the driver's side door ajar.
State Police also had set up crime scene tape.
State Police referred all inquiries to the Attorney General's office. The Attorney's General's office confirmed it is investigating the incident.
