Puppy rescued from the Merrimack River, safely returned to family

LITCHFIELD - A Litchfield family is relieved Monday after their puppy was rescued from the Merrimack River and returned home.

The Litchfield Fire Department rescued the puggle named Faye after she fell into the cold water Monday.

The Manchester Animal Shelter posted photos to Facebook Monday of Faye being happily reunited with her family. Check out the post below:

A huge sigh of relief for a Litchfield NH family after the Litchfeld Fire Depatment rescued their missing puggle Faye from the Merrimack River. Great work by all those that responded.
