PSNH details work being done to turn power back on for customers
MANCHESTER - Public Service of New Hampshire detailed its restoration efforts Friday afternoon.
It is a 24/7 operation with crews from Connecticut and Massachusetts helping out to get the power turned back on. The company is bringing in about 1,000 line workers, which is five times as many as usual.
PSNH has restored more than 100,000 customers over the past 36 hours.
The company expects primary circuits to be restored by Friday night.
According to company President Bill Quinlan, most cities will be restored this weekend and the remainder of the state will have power back by Monday.
Quinlan said crews are working on individual home fixing lines from poles to the homes and customers should call if they see neighbors have power and they do not.
