Prosecutors present judge with plea offer for ex-NH State Rep. Kyle Tasker
Slow but sure progress has been made in the State's case against Kyle Tasker.
Prosecutors presented the judge with a plea offer Tuesday morning - as they are required to. Details of that offer are not public, and lawyers agreed to meet again in early November to provide another update on the case.
Tasker is a former New Hampshire state representative who was indicted on drug charges and for luring who he thought was a teenager for sex.
July's indictment stated Tasker possessed a variety of illegal and controlled substances, including Buprenorphine, Ecstasy, hash oil, marijuana, psychedelic mushrooms and cocaine.
In a document signed by Rockingham County Attorney Patricia Conway, Tasker sent a Facebook message to an undercover police officer who was posing online as a 14-year-old girl.
