Prosecutors file motion to disqualify Owen Labrie's attorney in appeal for new trial


CONCORD — Prosecutors of Owen Labrie - the 20-year-old St. Paul’s School graduate who is now a registered sex offender after being convicted of rape, filed motions to disqualify his attorney.

At the beggining of April, Labrie filed motions for a new trial saying his council was ineffective.

Prosecutors filed two motions Tuesday saying that Labrie's attorney Jaye Rancourt shouldn't be allowed to represent him because she was an integral role in his trial defense.
