Presidential candidates return to NH with visits around the state on Sunday
With the holidays in the rear view mirror, presidential candidates are returning to New Hampshire for the final push before the primary in February. Sunday, the Granite State will see visits from Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Chris Christie and Marco Rubio.
Democrat Hillary Clinton is expected in Derry at the Gilbert H. Hood Middle School around 12:15 p.m., before heading to Concord High School at 3 p.m. and Keene High School at 6:30 p.m.
Her leading rival, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders is hosting a roundtable discussion with members of the Londonderry Senior Center in the morning then making appearances at the Plaistow Town Hall at noon and the Newmarket Town Hall at 3 p.m.
Meanwhile GOP candidate and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio holds town halls in Milford, Raymond and Hampton. He'll also join voters to watch the Patriots play the Dolphins at the Atkinson Country Club at 2 p.m.
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a Republican, is celebrating the opening of his Salem campaign office on South Broadway at 3 p.m. then heading to the Merrimack American Legion for a town hall starting at 5 p.m. Doors open to the public starting at 4 p.m.
