EPPING - Preparations are underway for the New England Nationals this weekend at New England Dragway in Epping.
More than 50,000 fans are expected to attend.
"We're talking about cars that run speeds at over 330 mph," said NHRA legendary driver John Force. "10,000 horse power in less than four seconds into the three second range. Down this race track, its nitro-methane, and it's a place to bring your family."
The first Nationals came to New Hampshire in 2013.
The event is hosted by the NHRA (National Hot Rod Association).
"We love coming up here," said NHRA driver Richie Crampton. "The east coast has been good to me, but we specifically love coming up and racing New Hampshire. This is only my second time competing here at this race track. The fans have always been great to me, and the racetrack is an excellent race track to compete on."
Tickets can be purchased here.
