DUNBARTON (AP) — Authorities say a 50-year-old woman has suffered serious injuries after her all-terrain vehicle rolled over and trapped her.

Lisa McFarland of Portsmouth was riding in Dunbarton when the ATV rolled over as she was making a turn on the Glider Hill Trail. She was trapped beneath the vehicle until her husband pulled it off her. The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

McFarland was taken to Concord Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities say she was riding safely and wearing proper protective gear.

Conservation officers with the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department are investigating the incident.
