Portsmouth to conduct emergency response training at schools on Friday

PORTSMOUTH - Don't panic on Friday morning if you see hundreds of police officers, firefighters and EMTs near local schools tomorrow -- it's drill.
More than 100 state and local first responders are working with the Portsmouth School District to test emergency response plans. The exercise is sponsored by the local police and fire departments with funding from the state Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management.
First responders will be gathering around the high school, middle school and Little Harbor School between 8 a.m. and noon.
