Portsmouth police seek suspect who paid with a counterfeit $100 bill

PORTSMOUTH - Police are asking for the public's help to identify a suspect who passed a counterfeit $100 bill at a store in Portsmouth.

Police are sharing surveillance photos in hopes of identifying the man who handed in the bill on March 6 around 6 p.m.

Anyone with more information about the incident is asked to contact Officer Christina Meyer at cmeyer@cityofportsmouth.com or call 427-1500.
