Portsmouth police arrest two men in connection with arson to vehicles, thefts

PORTSMOUTH - Police have arrested two men they said set several fires inside vehicles in January.

During a press conference Thursday morning, Chief David Mara said the two suspects turned themselves in within the past two days.

They men are identified as Michael Brad York, 24, of Goffstown, and Adam Carlin, 23, of Dunbarton.

Both are charged with four counts of criminal liability for conduct of another, three of those are accomplice to arson and one is accomplice to theft.

York and Carlin asked for the services of a bail commissioner. York's bail was set at $3,000 personal recognizance and Carlin's was set at $2,500 personal recognizance. Both are scheduled to appear in Portsmouth district court on April 4.
