Portsmouth officials could welome more food trucks in city

PORTSMOUTH — Officials are debating the idea of allowing more food trucks to vend in the city.

City Manager, John Bohenko said that if the city gets more applications for outdoor licenses before next year's summer season, they would bring them to the City Council for review, according to seacoastonline.

Not all people are on board with this, however, because of the threat that food trucks could bring to the restaurant business.

There have been arguments of having "trial periods" for food truck vendors, but no decisions have been made yet whether there will be more trucks appearing in Portsmouth.
