Portsmouth man pulled over for speeding gets arrested for heroin, firearm possession

PORTSMOUTH – A Portsmouth man was arrested on multiple felony charges after he was pulled over for speeding Monday night.

Abdul Rodriquez was stopped when police saw a handgun, which Rodriquez did not have a license for, under his driver’s seat.

When police searched the car, they also found a large amount of heroin.

Police arrested Rodriquez and arrested him on multiple felony charges including possession of a firearm without a license, possession of drugs and operating without a valid license.
