PORTSMOUTH — The city of Portsmouth has been named No. 3 on USA Today's national "Best Small Town Food Scene" top 10 list.
According to a description by USA Today, "chefs from near and far" are "fueling a flavor-filled food revolution" in Portsmouth. James Beard award-winning semifinalist, chef Matt Louis of Portsmouth's Moxy restaurant, and chef Gregg Sessler of the restaurant Tapas at Cava were singled-out and recognized by the network.
The town of Frankenmuth, Michigan ranked No.1, and was followed by Driftwood, Texas at No.2 and then Portsmouth completing the top three.
